A  first-time manager who's never had to deliver hard feedback. A high performer who keeps getting passed over because delegation isn't clicking yet. A director who's technically excellent and still hasn't found their voice in the room. These aren't culture problems or performance plans, they're specific skills that most people are never actually taught. Individual coaching teaches them.

Workplace Harmony's individual coaching is one-on-one, built around a single leader and a single goal. We don't run people through a fixed curriculum. We figure out what's actually in their way, then build a plan to move it.

Because the skill you need right now is specific, and generic advice rarely builds it.

INDIVIDUAL COACHING

What This Looks Like

1. Kick off and align

A kickoff conversation with the leader (and their sponsor) to get clear on what success actually looks like.

2. Get to know the person

Pre-work built around a values and goals worksheet, plus a “brag book” of real wins, so coaching starts from strengths, not just gaps.

3. Build skills through regular sessions

Sessions that build on each other with a clear thread, not a series of disconnected check-ins, typically six sessions over a minimum of 90 days.

4. Sharpen with assessments, where useful

DISC, strengths-based assessments, or 360-degree feedback layered in when they'll accelerate self-awareness, not as a default step.

5. Check in with the sponsor

A mid-engagement check-in keeps whoever requested the coaching informed on progress, without turning sessions into a performance review.

6. Hand off something that lasts

An off-boarding session with concrete resources, plus an optional 6-month follow-up to see what's actually stuck.

What is individual coaching at Workplace Harmony?

Individual coaching is one-on-one coaching built around a specific leader and a specific goal, such as stepping into a new management role or building a skill like feedback or delegation. It runs on Workplace Harmony's HEAL framework, created by Dr. Domonique ‘Dr. Dom’ Revere, and is tailored to the leader's real goals rather than a fixed curriculum.

Who is individual coaching for?

Individual coaching is for leaders who are strong in their role overall but stuck on one or two specific things, including first-time managers, high performers whose growth has stalled, and leaders preparing for a promotion or bigger scope. It's built for one person at a time rather than a team or cohort.

How long does an individual coaching engagement last?

A typical individual coaching engagement runs six sessions over a minimum of 90 days, delivered virtually, in person, or in a hybrid format depending on what works best for the leader.

What happens in an individual coaching session?

Sessions build on each other around a specific goal, using pre-work like a values and goals worksheet, real accountability between sessions, and (when useful) tools like DISC or strengths assessments. Each engagement closes with an off-boarding session and concrete resources the leader keeps using afterward.

How is individual coaching different from group or executive coaching?

Individual coaching works with one leader on one goal, while group coaching works with a cohort of managers or a leadership team building skills together, and executive coaching (Executive Elevate) is built specifically for leaders navigating major organizational change like a merger or reorganization.

How We Show Up

A process built around one person

Individual coaching runs on our HEAL framework (Humanize, Evolve, Align, Lift), created by Dr. Domonique ‘Dr. Dom’ Revere, which means the plan starts with the person, not a template.
